- No previous attacks and running loose: If the dog is running loose on the sidewalks, in a park, or anywhere else outside the owner’s property and injures someone, the homeowner is automatically responsible for any injuries that result because the homeowner violated leash laws.
- Previous attacks: When a previous incident of a dog attack has been reported regarding the dog, the property owner may be held liable for injuries that occurred as a result.
