Missy Chapman

Missy Chapman is a paralegal with Warner Law Offices working with attorney Nate Kuratomi. She has over 30 years of experience in the legal profession in many different areas of law. Her focus is on workplace injury and other personal injury matters.

As a paralegal, Missy communicates with and obtains information from clients. She also keeps the clients updated on the status of their cases by providing regular updates. She obtains, organizes, reviews, and summarizes medical records. She assists with experts, communicates with them, and provides them with the necessary materials needed for review and schedules meetings, depo preparation, and depositions. She drafts discovery requests and responses, as well as reviews and gathers responsive documents. She maintains and calendars case deadlines, prepares materials and exhibits for hearings and depositions and assists in trial preparation.

Missy grew up near Belle, West Virginia, and graduated from Dupont High School. She attended the West Virginia Institute of Technology in Montgomery, West Virginia where she obtained an associate degree in legal secretarial studies. She has spent her career working at several different law firms in Charleston, West Virginia, as well as working for a law firm in Canton, Ohio.

Missy still resides near Belle with her husband Scott, two dogs, and a cat. They have one son, Dylan. Missy enjoys pool time and cookouts with family and friends. She also loves girls’ trips with her friends, attending concerts, and beach trips.
